Mr. Bartley doing a great job at Stenny, thought he had something about him when he took over at livingston and vastly improved them even though they were already almost relegated and he just didnt get enough games to save them from relegation. Will be interesting to see if Stenny can keep it going under him and if so if they can hold on to him much longer.

Arbroath also had a man sent off (Constable) towards the end of their game with Livi. Presumably he misses our game with them next week .

Will do, was a second yellow.

Arbroath quite decent today, we will need to be at it!

For the pars next week, the priorities should be to avoid unnecessary corners and wide free kicks, press Arbroath’s holding midfield aggressively and prevent Bonnar receiving between the lines. Arbroath are most comfortable when the game becomes territorial, physical and dominated by second balls. We struggle to win headers in our own box

So Partick have dropped four points in their last two games. Maybe they`re not the outright favourites some think.

Being outright favourites doesn’t mean they’ll win every match.

They’re still outright favourites and I think they deserve it.

It`s always a division in which every team can beat every other team.

That`s why NL`s (ever present) comments about the war of attrition are spot on. The team that wants it more will often win.

Last night it looked to me like the Pars wanted it more.
