We played some delightful stuff and our goal was the culmination of a move inolving 15 passes without an Arbroath player touching the ball. Despite his slackness at their goal, Oyirwoth has vastly improved the midfield with his constructive passing and his ability to wriggle out of tight positions, I think he`ll get even better as he gets used to the physicality of the Championship. His shooting seems no better than the rest though! We`ve been debating the lack of goals for weeks now and pointing the figure at various offenders but it now seems to be endemic within the squad. Two of those who have come in for criticism, Morrison and Shaw, were absent yesterday but still the problem persists. Adams does not seem to be a `natural` scorer and I fear Thomas isn`t either from his previous spell at the club. The danger is that it now becomes a psychological problem. We probably played as well yesterday as we did in the 5-0 win at Arbroath a year ago but that day everything seemed to go in. I think all we can do is keep creating the chances and hope our `luck` turns. Reply |

Similar to our goal against Raith when 8 players were involved in the build up. Contrastingly Arbroath`s only involved three players and three touches. We could learn from that. Reply |

Glad to see Lennon mention this post match as it is an important area of the game. Arbroath`s goal was simple, but was still well executed. A long ball floated accurately where their best aerial player knocked it across goal for other runners to attack at the far post. Reply |
