I was saddened to see him leave as I thought he showed real potential in some of the games he started with us, especially in a struggling team. He`s still only 20 and I`ll be keeping an eye on his progress. He would probably struggle to get a game in the current Pars team, as Abdulai and SCH are a class act, but the latter is not our player, and I doubt whether Dundee United would be ever prepared to sell him to the Pars. ![]() Not your average Sunday League player. Author: desparado Date: Wed 16th Sep 2026. 08:42 I agree he would struggle to get a game in the current team but I found it a little strange that SY was released but AD was given another year( he looks promising too )…..Sam had been at the club a lot longer and had a few first team games under his belt. What an opportunity we missed in 2014. Reply |

A `no nonsense CB`. Lennon seems to have a real preference for CBs who are comfortable with the ball at their feet, so I think he left more because his style doesn`t suit what Lennon wants, rather than he`s not good enough. Undoubtedly he played well but when McFadden mentioned them, I had a thinking, ok I can see that these are some areas he can improve and we could exploit. Enjoyed watching him and Stenny have a good player forming for them. Post Edited (Wed 16 Sep 09:53) Reply |
