You may well be right, BP, but it was the wording `Kane reverted to type after getting a new deal`, which seemed to suggest some sort of deceit by the player, which annoyed some of us. It cast doubt on the integrity of the player and maybe even the competence of our medical staff. Sackthere69 didn`t address this in his first response to our comments and still hasn`t.

He has missed more games this month than he did in the final six months of last season. Every Saturday, we`re left checking to see whether his name appears on the team sheet or disappears from it.

This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

In the league this year, he has been on the pitch for 160 minutes.

In that time we have scored 3 goals.

Across 10 games (assume 900 minutes) we have scored 8 goals.

I think we are way more potent with him on the park for quite a few reasons.

You should go into politics where politicians rarely seeem to answer awkward questions they`re asked either.

Cooper out for about a month. J Tod didn`t train today because of a `bug`.Turley and Robinson are now doing some running.

Still to answer your question, wee eck

Kane was clearly peeved at getting subbed off at Bonnyrigg. Complaining that he had hardly played all season.

We do have a massive squad so sometimes I think he doesn’t make the bench not because he’s injured it’s just not worth the risk like today obviously it’s Astro and I don’t see the point in risking him so I wouldn’t even name him on the bench if we had no injuries now with injuries he’ll get named but would still be surprised to see Kane come on would you rather have a fully fit Kane at the start of a season or manage him in the first part so he can be firing on all cylinders at the end of the season where we will need everyone as we seen by last season

Hope J Tod makes it because with SCH and LR already missing we will be short at CH. Gilmour has played there before of course.

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

There`s no suggestion Donnelly`s injured, is there?

There was a suggestion he tripped over his lip last week, but he has recovered well 🤭

Whoever he plays will need to combat Oakley`s physicality, if he plays.

Will that not be Abdulai`s job?

There isn’t but we only have him and Nuru ….if JT was to miss out.

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

I think Abdullai can physically match Oakley. I think JT can as well but Oakley is an experienced campaigner, JT will have his work cut out if he’s starting. As will Donnelly if it’s him.

From what I’ve been seeing, Oakley seems pretty central to how the wee team play. He’s gave us a hard time in the past though so it shouldn’t be taken lightly.

I’m nervous about tonight - probably because in my mind this is a big game for the season outwith it being a Fife derby.

Abdulai is more than capable of taking care of Oakley, who really is just a battering ram with absolutely no pace, so we can afford to play a high line.
If any of our centre backs don’t make it, I would have no concerns at all that Gilmour could step in seemlessly. In fact, it could represent his best chance of getting back in the team?
