We lost a goal when debutant Victor Wanyama slipped and gave the ball away and it was all downhill from there. But I`m in a more positive frame of mind for this Saturday. With the boys coming back from international duty unscathed, we should be well set to put out a strong team capable of a win. Reply |

A draw won’t be a disaster but with Livi and Partick on the horizon it would be great to bag all three points. What an opportunity we missed in 2014. Reply |

Author: Berkey Date: Thu 8th Oct 2026. 10:45 We’ve only lost once in 7 games which is a pretty good record in the championship for us in recent years and suggests a defeat might not be far away in such a tight league. Bit worried about this one, there’s still an element of unpredictability to us where we might win comfortably or be soundly beaten! The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity! Reply |

You can’t legislate for the odd poor performance and result littered with mistakes but I feel if we can score two we ain’t getting beat…..and probably winning. We need to start converting more of the chance we create though. Hopefully we are not rusty on Saturday. Thought we had a bounce game arranged or was it just MH testimonial we have played in the last three weeks ? What an opportunity we missed in 2014. Reply |
