According to NL Kane out with a groin strain and Luke Robinson has picked an injury too-not specified. | 2. Author: wee eck Date: Fri 9th Oct 2026. 14:15 I`m beginning to think we took a bit of a gamble in signing two playerrs with long-term injuries in Thomas and Turley. Olly is obviously our player and we are taking the risk, presumably after a medical and knowing his history. I don`t know how it works with a loanee like Freddie. The original injury was incurred during his loan last season but it wouldn`t seem fair if we were paying a full loan fee to Derby now whilst also incurring the expense of getting him match fit. Can see him going back to Derby at year end if he does not get match fit soon. Who’s paying what ? Who knows ? What an opportunity we missed in 2014. Reply |
| 4. Author: Jeffery Date: Fri 9th Oct 2026. 15:18 I heard Robinson at the Aberdeen match saying he was `a couple of weeks away`, so his must be something fairly minor. The Olly Thomas one is particularly frustrating as none of our forwards have had a great start this season. His pace and physicality might make a big difference right now. Reply |
