It seems to be something to do with the fourth stand, but presumably the details will become clearer further down the line. There`s probably right on both sides, but the uncertainty will be a shame for all the kids and families who use the facilities. https://falkirkfc.co.uk/falkirk-fc-ends-relationship-with-falkirk-football-community-foundation/? Author: Mr Mac Date: Thu 22nd Oct 2026. 17:05 It appears the Falkirk Foundation have their own 25 year community benefit lease on land at the stadium; where they have their pitches and also where they have plans to install modular buildings to create a community hub for their activities. The football club state they need some of that land for a fourth stand. The club have also issued copyright/ IP proceedings against the foundation for use of the club crest which was previously permitted. All very messy. https://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/sport/football/falkirk-fc/falkirk-foundation-falkirk-fc-relationship-ends-9302749 ![]() Reply |

Despite the Pars rivalry i must say the Foundation have an excellent setup and way they do things from the grass roots side of things at least. My sons team played them a few times and i deal with a lot of the background / admin stuff and they are always first class to deal with. Great setup and always had a good tie-in with club, boys always were in the best of gear in the previous seasons club wear. Regularly played ij the main stadium too but i suspect a lot of that will now change. --------------------------------------------------------------- ![]() [b]"People always talk about Ronaldinho and magic, but I didn't see him today. | 7. Author: Mr Mac Date: Thu 22nd Oct 2026. 21:04 My son used to go to the kids coaching on a Saturday morning, the coaches were very good. All about the kids enjoying the game and being active. I used to have a good chat with them. Coaches knew I was a Par and was made clear that my son could wear his Pars kit if he wanted and they would deal with anyone who had a problem with it. The Foundation has contributed circa £2M to the club over the years as well as clear community benefits with community groups similar to those the Pars Foundation have. ![]() Reply |

Even if a stand holds 3k for the ugly sisters and you consider an average boost of 500 over the other games it will take a long time to repay the stand. The max extra revenue wouldn’t even get to 500k. That is assuming also that they maintain their top-flight status. Agree that this is an odd proposition. But a ground that only has 3 sides is a bit embarrassing, so it suits them well. Reply |
| 10. Author: Jeffery Date: Fri 23rd Oct 2026. 08:25 Sandy Alexander (founder of Schuh) paid for their last new stand. I guess he might cover fully or prop up and fund raising for the next one. Their more immediate focus will be on replacement of the plastic pitch as their extension was to the end of this season. Assume they will post profits the last couple of years though. Still fielding what was largely a L1 side, selling Barney for £1.3m, and gates going from averaging 4k in L1 to 7k p/w in the top flight. Reply |
