A vital 3 points away from home in terrible conditions. Beat Stenhousemuir on Tuesday night and we go 3rd equal, just 4 points from top. Can`t be that bad. Keep the faith.

Unbeaten in our last 8 competitive matches 4 wins and 4 draws. That`s hardly a crisis situation. Admittedly some of the draws could/ should have been wins but surely heading in the right direction and time to keep supporting and not bellyaching.

We`ve only scored more than one goal in one league match.

And that was a 2-0 win against Queens Park at home who are currently bottom of the league.

A dearth rather than a crisis.

Yes Paralax a win is a win for aw that .. would take 1-0 every week .. a wee bit more composure in front of goal and we will be up there .. COYP

Agreed. We`re in the up and up. Don`t understand the negativity. Sure we have some money coming into the club. But every successful team has done the same.

Goals are hard to come by and its still a concern. I personally don`t think we will score a barrow load against anybody and its going to be 1 or preferably 2 goals a game in the main.

I was worried the weather today might act as a leveller so I`m happy to take any kind of win. It looks like Tuesday night in Larbert`s also going to be wet and windy and Stenny are obviously better than QP so I`ll have the same attitude in midweek.

Good win on a difficult day, doesn’t quite gloss over that another week another raft of chances go abegging.

We’re only won 1 game so far this season against a top 8 team, that will need to change us to maintain hopes of top 3. Ideally starting with stenny who have ran out of steam

Wasn`t possible for us to beat a team in the top 8 today.

You can slice and dice the stats any way way you like to suit your agenda. Why not say `Only one team above us has beaten us`? At the end of the season nobody cares where your points came from.

Exactly wee eck and I`m still amazed/ annoyed at the extra two points handed to Partick Thistle down in Ayr. They`re boasting their mouths of at being top of the league, but in all fairness, they shouldn`t be. Up to us to wipe the smile off.

……they need to start believing they can win every game.

Its a good win against a difficult side, but why are we
making a win in so much doubt by not taking the
chance we create every game.

We are slowly slugging away and have earned some good results. I am happy the way we are headed. I believe we will reach our peak soon.

Big Marcus my point is we’re really had one good result this season and that was beating rovers.

The other 3 wins have been against 2 teams already adrift at the bottom, both have had their budget slashed to the bone recently.

Start to regularly beat any of the other 7 and we’ll be cooking though, espechially away from home.

Or from another perspective we`ve not lost in 8 and only conceded one goal to anyone above us despite not remotely playing to our potential yet.

You can choose to look at things positively.

Stenny have 13 points from 15 at home. I think it is premature to suggest that they have run out of steam.

We`ve got a top 3 defence and a bottom 3 attack.

I`d rather have that than the other way around. We have a solid foundation. We`re really hard to beat. If we score one goal, we probably win.

I`d quite like to spank someone 5-0 though.
