It`s a big ask but win today and on Friday at the San Starko and we`ll be breathing down Thistle`s neck. 😁

Not your average Sunday League player.

Stenny looked dead on their feet last night.

3rd game in 6 days against what would be most people`s top 3 in no particular order at the start of the season.

Shows what an early goal can do though in this league, opens the game up so much!

C'mon Ye Pars!

I think for me, it will be between us, PT and Livingston. I didn`t think Livingston were as dominant in the game against Stenny as we were albeit they scored three goals. Perhaps that was as much down to the early goal as anything.

In terms of preparedness for the premiership, I think the Pars are best placed of all. A young squad developing and improving all the time, with what looks like the right blend of experience in the key areas.

The development of young players builds on the reputation the club has and will hopefully encourage younger talented players to come. When given the opportunity, direction and support, they are proving what they can do.

First step is to get promoted, but equally important I think is the ability to stay up, retaining the players you have and continue their development. Of the clubs in the championship we look the best candidates to do that in my view.

The January recall option on Lobban makes me nervous. Aberdeen might have a new manager about then too.
