Brilliant job Big T....I really wish I`d been more musical when I was younger.

And thanks for reviving the thread, it`s made me reopen some old ACDC and Anthrax stuff which has brought a lot of joy over the past day or so.

Always thought that this was pretty epic

https://youtu.be/3afxxsjwyzo

As is this

https://youtu.be/xtlvlagjjeu

Joker and the thief is quality all round Big T, but the intro is def one of the best πŸ‘Œ

Had to try and figure it out. Considering The intro sounds easy, it is really hard to keep right, especially when the drums kick in. Great tune though

And a blatant excuse to try and get my views up on it 😁

What gear are you running there re amps and FX Big T?
Nice LP. If it is a LP . .. there`s that many variations these days 🀣

I`m surprised there hasn`t been a shout for `Cinnamon Girl` by Neil Young and Crazy Horse. I was delighted when Neil ended the set with this at the Playhouse on 3 March 2008. It would be good if someone could do a link to a live performance or recording of it.

I like my creature comforts too much now, ip! I see he`s going to be at Hyde Park on 11 July too. Fair play to him. I think he`ll be 80 this year!

There`s a few clips on YouTube and a few sites online with the set list and reviews from that night.

Yeah, I watched a couple this morning, widtink, and I`ve still got the set list I printed after the Edinburgh gig. Tbh, there are loads of NY songs with great intros.

Cheers bud, very much appreciated 😊 Yeah one of the best things that I ever done, was to try and learn how to play. Forever grateful to my mate, who said Have a listen to this. This, being the Whole Lotta Rosie single. Instantly, my life changed for ever. Fell in love with AC/DC and so wanted to be Angus but was never good enough, but quickly realised that Malcolm WAS the main man, so rhythm guitar was for me 😊

Just a Mesa Boogie pre set on my Spider 5 amp, Widtink. No fancy *****, straight distortion 🀘🀘

Yeah it`s an LTD (esp). Fantastic guitar. Recently got it set up properly, by Jimmy Egypt in Glasgow. The difference is absolutely amazing. Feels, sounds and plays like a brand new guitar. Loving it

Thanks for resurrecting my old thread Big T. I`d forgotten all about it. I`ll add a few more magical intros that will have Lochgelly Albert salivating like one of Pavlov`s dogs. 😁

Locomotive Breath, Aqualung - Jethro Tull
Art for Art`s Sake - 10cc.
Born in the USA - Bruce Springsteen.
Black Night - Deep Purple
Cocaine - JJ Cale
Relax - Frankie goes to Valleyfield
New Year`s Day - U2
You Really Got Me - Kinks

Many more I could add.....
