Unbelievable skill and stamina. And with Andy Murray in the Djokovic corner, it adds to the interest. But I do find myself slightly put off by players who bounce the ball up to 18 times before they hit a service. I think Sinner is the guy to beat in the men`s. But it would be great to see Draper get quite far into the draw. Reply |

8. Author: Paralex Date: Fri 17th Jan 2025. 23:29 Yes, da no 1, he seems to have the grit determination of an Andy Murray. With all these 5 setters, he must run out of gas soon but so far so good. He`s great to watch. Alcatraz next BPP. If he can pull that one off he will be in the big time. Post Edited (Fri 17 Jan 23:31) Reply |

10. Author: Paralex Date: Mon 20th Jan 2025. 18:54 No, he didn`t escape Alca(t)raz. Looks like his physical problems are even worse than our Andy`s became. Not good news for his tennis future. Reply |

13. Author: Paralex Date: Tue 21st Jan 2025. 17:03 I wasn`t a big fan of Djokovic but the connection with Andy Murray is news worthy and so I hope he goes all the way and takes the trophy. Looks like he`ll require to get past Zverev and possibly Sinner, to do that. Reply |

18. Author: Raymie the Legend Date: Sat 25th Jan 2025. 09:14 Watching the women’s final. Two powerful players involved in a slugfest, with very little in the way of finesse and variety. Just trying to hit through the other from the baseline. Double handed backhands the norm. No ability to play any other way. Not able to mix it up. Disappointing It`s bloody tough being a legend Ron Atkinson - 1983 Reply |
19. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Sat 25th Jan 2025. 14:45 The tournament is over for me as I can`t stand the German wife beater or dull as dishwater Sinner. Draper done well considering he was carrying an injury. We definitely need some new players to come up and challenge or Sinner will dominate for years to come. Carloz is great to watch but he`s got a mental block that makes him lose focus easily (he`s went backwards after winning 4 slams at a very early age). A new coach to reinforce that winning mentality is needed. I`m also hoping Scotland`s very own Jacob Fearnley can continue his rise up the tables. He`s a good talent that waited until university finished before taking tennis more seriously. We`ve also got a couple of teens that have a chance to do well in a few years. The Sinner domination has me a bit bored tbh. His record over the past 18 months has been exceptionally good. That`s not good for tennis. I wouldn`t mind if it was Carloz dominating as he plays exciting tennis and has a personality. Pars fan. Magpies fan. Mens tennis fan. Alternative rock fan. Not a fan of much else. Reply |
