Ind Coop brewery .. Patons .. Jaeger .. Printers .. Weir pumps .. Engineering works .. Maclays brewery .. Woolworths .. 3 picture houses .. The Gaumont .. Central .. the Pivillion .. The glassworks .. Jobs a plenty .. the schools opened their doors and kids rushed into apprenticeships .. Now it has food banks .. so so sad ..
