Just wondering if anybody in the forum is a fan of Stock Car Racing??

Heading along to the Bangers day at Cowdenbeath on Sunday, because my son has gotten into it. I enjoyed the couple of race days I attended but know nothing of the sport.

Any handy magazines, Facebook pages, YouTube channels etc etc worth following to keep up to date with news or know what’s going on (in general)?

Will they cover a parked van?

Or would they have covered a parked van?

If a vehicle was parked offsite it was covered, but the vehicles parked onsite are covered by a different section of the policy.

They just didn`t want us driving them.

How did you get on? I’ve had the thought of going without actually going 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Worth going to see?

Give the official Cowdenbeath racewall Facebook page a follow that will keep you up to date with everything happening there and also HRP lochgelly not sure about pages specific to banger racing but there are a few for formula 2s and saloons

Big meetings at Cowdenbeath this year are the annual British banger association World Cup which is usually held in April then the brisca f1s return to Scotland over the weekend of the 24th and 25th of may racing at knockhill on the Saturday evening and then at Cowdenbeath on the Sunday afternoon (take the laddie to both you won’t regret it) then on the weekend of the 7th and 8th of June the saloon stockcars European championship is at Cowdenbeath and finally the main event of the season the brisca formula 2 stockcar championship of the world takes place over the weekend of the 5th and 6th of September

have been a few times last couple of years with the little ones loving racing cars but have to say its mainly ignorant on my part to understand things a bit better than just watching the cars racing for the boys and looking for a good crash or 2. Usually a decent afternoon/evening out though.

I used go to knockhill for both the touring cars and the BSB. Would also get along to Scottish super stocks etc when I could. I do enjoy watching it but no been to see any racing in years

I once helped a boy who walked into my workshop and cut some wood for him and the next day he brought me a couple of tickets to see the speedway. Edinburgh Monarchs out at Armadale. Also worth a visit

They race the stockcars on the part of the track that forms the back straight the hairpin and the main straight it’s great fun watching the kids race their mini stoxs at knockhill they carry so much speed down the wee mini straight and down the back straight by the time they get to the hairpin they realise **** I can’t slow down in time

Helping a local boy attempting to qualify for the F2 world at Cowdie in September.
Been going racing for over 50 years and still get the buzz. Anyone wanting a little insight into these cars give me a shout. We are in Dunfermline.

That local boy wouldn’t happen to be the driver of the #7 car would it?
