| Topic: Cost to fit Laminate flooring |

| 1. Author: desparado Date: Tue 11th Mar 2025. 19:24 Just had a quote from a joiner to fit laminated floor ….£800. The room in question is approx 17m2. Seems a bit steep considering it could be done quite easily in a few hours. Anyone got recommendations as I ain’t agreeing to this price. What an opportunity we missed in 2014. Reply |

Depends on the what you’re putting down and the shape of the room. Bay windows, wall recesses etc will put the price up. (Extra cutting and potentially extra material) Also depends on how it’s to be finished at the wall. That £800 tells me he’s probably quoting a price including supplying a laminate floor for you. If it isn’t, he doesn’t want the job… boys probably got sore knees 🤷🏻♂️ COYP Reply |
