| 2. Author: sadindiefreak Date: Wed 26th Mar 2025. 14:56 This reminds me of the RAF Buchan rugby club who would steal things for their clubhouse when away on tour. They would travel armed with bolt cutters, screwdrivers etc to be ready for their crimes. They had a trip up to the Shetlands to play RAF Saxa Vord. When in Lerwick they cut the chain attached to a gold statue outside an Indian restaurant and took it back to Buchan. A few weeks later the theft was featured on Crimewatch, the statue was worth about 10 grand if I remember correctly. It was returned anonymously. Reply |
