Shut for ten days causing jams through the town.
Potholes filled in. Looks like someone has chucked some tar in and used the back of a shovel to smooth it out.
Absolute disgrace. Will be f***** again in a month.

I thought the issue was related to the stability of the road rather than potholes? That road hasn`t been fit for purpose for years but my understanding is it can`t be widened as the walls are protected.

It`s going to be interesting when the Western Relief road is built as it appears to connect to the coal road!

If you actually check the road closures site, it was SP Energy works on Lover`s Loan, not the pot holes for this 10 day closure. They were badly filled in a week or so before this latest closure. Bit of rain and they`ll be back to the usual standard.

I cycled through the roadworks on lover`s loan on Sunday to get on the Urquart Farm road, there was a big 30 foot trench in the middle of it.

Not just fixing potholes.
