I am looking for some suggestions in Rosyth/Dunfermline area of good places to host a wake / celebration of life party.

My mum passed last week and I now live abroad so not sure on the best places with facilities to host maybe 100 people.

Its quite short notice trying to do it Friday 13th (next week) in the evening and would be looking for suggestions of a DJ as well

My mum had a venue in mind but the capacity is quite tight at 60 and think there could be a bit more than that.

Thanks in advance for any help / suggestions !

Garvock House or Pitbauchlie have been pretty decent at the funerals I`ve been at.

Don't know about EEP?

Sorry to hear your news Johan. Hope you’re all ok. X

I echo the above mention for the Garvock House. We had ours there for Mither and they were excellent.

Pitbauchlie done a really good job for my mother inlaws and are very accommodating. Services held there before we headed down to steelend then back up to the hotel for an afternoon noon style tea and drinks. Couldn`t fault them. Also we went with foster funeral directors very accommodating and help us out at every turn. The women who helped us there was first class aswell and tended to all my wife`s needs for her mum also

Thats the name couldnt mind her name. Your usual typical Kelty lass who stays down rosyth tells you how it is and goes above her station for you. Its was her who suggested the pitbauchlie to us also
