4. Author: Buspasspar Date: Sun 20th Jul 2025. 18:53 I cut a few lawns round about and rely on the weather app and brown bins The Met Office is for me the most reliable .. The BBC have a 50% chance of rain all day every day .. I suppose they have to be right if it rains or doesn`t :-o)) We are forever shaped by the Children we once were Reply |
5. Author: ipswichpar Date: Sun 20th Jul 2025. 19:09 Cheers all. I`ll have a look at NetWeather. Was weird today....I was waiting to walk home and it was pelting. The observed MetOffice was accurate 10 minutes before that, but the actual time and forecast showed no rain at all.....was completely misaligned, so it clearly doesn`t update the forecast in real time. With the wind we get, you can’t really predict accuracy a week ahead but they tend to get it spot on as the day goes on. Zwei Pints Bier und ein Päckchen Chips bitte ![]() Reply |

10. Author: parsmad68 Date: Tue 22nd Jul 2025. 01:01 For local rain incoming when I am cycling, I use the App called Rain Alarm. Works wherever I am and warns me of the incoming rain and whether I need to put waterproofs on or not. Useful for my washing too! Not a forecast however. I use the Met Office.
