Im getting a but fed up with my BBC weather app. It doesn`t seem to be that great at forecasting rain and suggests a biblical flood which ends up being a wee bit of spitting.

Any good alternatives?

Met office app seems good. It gives you a live radar view also

Every app gives a differing forecast. It’s nuts

Netweather is what I use. Allows you to track the rain

I cut a few lawns round about and rely on the weather app and brown bins
The Met Office is for me the most reliable .. The BBC have a 50% chance of rain all day every day .. I suppose they have to be right if it rains or doesn`t :-o))

Cheers all.

I`ll have a look at NetWeather. Was weird today....I was waiting to walk home and it was pelting. The observed MetOffice was accurate 10 minutes before that, but the actual time and forecast showed no rain at all.....was completely misaligned, so it clearly doesn`t update the forecast in real time.

iPhone phone weather at least on present time is very good. With the wind we get, you can’t really predict accuracy a week ahead but they tend to get it spot on as the day goes on.

Agree with Apples own weather app, seems fairly accurate although can have the odd day where its wildly wrong

For local rain incoming when I am cycling, I use the App called Rain Alarm. Works wherever I am and warns me of the incoming rain and whether I need to put waterproofs on or not. Useful for my washing too!
Not a forecast however. I use the Met Office.
