I wonder if Toronto can overcome Los Angeles - the Canadians would love that for Trump !!!

They`re up against superstar Shohei Ohtani who just deflated Milwaukee in the play off decider with a stellar career performance that has but him amongst the all time legends.

A record 469 foot blast out of the stadium, in between two other homers.....and he`s a starting pitcher !!!

32 years in the making - Let`s go Blue Jays.

Dodgers might have a superstar, but Vladdy, Springer, Lukes, Varsho & Kirk etc al have been absolutely superb all season, especially going 0 2 and 2 3 down in the ALCS.

Not to mention the young rookie pitcher Yesavage who destroyed the Yankees in Game 2 of the ALDS & put up 2 decent showings in the Championship round.

Home advantage - win 4 more games and we`re Champions.

LET`S GO BLUE JAYS βšΎοΈπŸ†πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸΌ

Wish I could be in Toronto this week - even without game tickets, the atmosphere would be epic 😎πŸ₯³

Just watched the highlights - that sixth inning is one for WS folklore.

Was epic - trying to celebrate quietly at 3am was a challenge haha!!

Yesavage didn`t do anything spectacular but it wasn`t disastrous either, conceding only 2 runs & he struck out Ohtani first up, for example! He did a decent job all round considering where he`s come from.

What I love about this team is that everyone is looking at Vladdy, Bichette & Springer to get the runs but every one of them swings the bat well - it IS a real team effort!

Barger last night - superb but then you have guys like Clement, Varsho & Kirk contributing.

End the series now haha but also - keep going Jays!

Sooo worth staying up til 5am for!

Over to Kevin Gausman for game 2 πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸΌβšΎοΈπŸ€žπŸΌ

Dodgers win game two 5 1 and the series is tied πŸ˜’

Pitchers duel with Gausman retiring 17 batters in a row but then giving up 2 HR in the 7th, while the (unfortunately) superb Yamamoto pitched a complete game & stopped the Jays bats swinging in the 3rd 😭

Got to win at least once now in LA to bring it back to SkyDome. Or win all 3 to be Champs πŸ€”πŸ€£

Can`t watch the next 3 live with them being midweek, so hoping thats not my last game of the season.

We were 0 2 at this point v Seattle, so it`s not done yet 🀞🏼

Over to Mad Max Scherzer for game 3.

Let`s go Blue Jays πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦βšΎοΈπŸ‘πŸΌ

Was hoping the Dodgers wouldn’t be able to settle it in LA - still think it’ll come back to Toronto.

Yeah it would have been nice to know it was def coming back.

Feel sorry for Gausman - any other night he`d have won as he didnt do much wrong.

Not over yet tho, especially if we can win game 3 or 4 πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸΌβšΎοΈπŸ€žπŸΌ

I see the Canadians have wound up Trump, as I alluded to, with a TV ad of Ronald Reagan criticising tariffs from his days as POTUS - needless to say DT was not amused and reacted like the bully he is.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the WS flag incident of the 1990’s isn’t resurrected πŸ™„

Got up this morning to find them still playing!!

Watched a couple of innings then had to leave for work. Literally minutes later, Freeman smacked a walk off HR in the bottom of the 18th!!

Dodgers win 6 5 and take a 2 1 series lead 😭

Just hope that hasn`t messed up the bullpen for the next 2 πŸ€”πŸ˜

All square now at 2-2, both teams must have been exhausted after 18 innings the previous night. Sets up game 6 for a decider.

Now a best of 3 & its going back to Toronto.

Great to win that one as 1 3 would have been very difficult.

As it stands - 2 home wins ....

Well done to Vladdy for breaking the Jays postseason HR record πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸΌ

Let`s go Blue Jays πŸ₯³βšΎοΈπŸ€žπŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

JAYS WIN 6 1 AND LEAD THE SERIES 3 2!!!!!

12k game from Yesavage πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

1 win needed from 2 home games - pretty sure we`ll face Yamamoto again so it`ll be interesting to see how we do second time against him.

What a bounceback from that game 3 18 inning defeat - winning 2 games out of 3 in LAπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Let`s go Blue Jays ⚾️ πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‘πŸΌ 😎

Saturday night could be party time in the greater Toronto area - better than Sunday with work for fans the following morning.

I hope they do the business - great cue to wind up Trump πŸ₯³

Two homers first inning on 3 pitches - that’s a statement of intent.

Almost as bad as Pars defence in Dingwall πŸ™„

Just managed to see extended highlights - some outstanding individual plays in all areas - the diving save for example.

Nerves are jangling nicely.

Not sure what the Pars equivalent is but 32 years for the franchise / 27 years for me personally, this is an utterly incredible, once in a lifetime kind of thing.

Mon the Jays πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ₯³πŸ₯³
