Author: AdamAntsParsStripe Date: Sun 9th Nov 2025. 16:00 Don’t know if anybody else picked up on it as it wasn’t only at EEP but the minute silence is meant to start after the bugle has finished. Leish and the SJ chairman set off to pick up the wreaths as soon as the bugler stops. That may have pre-empted the ref from signalling the minute`s silence. At the time I was surprised by the way it was ended. Reply |

Author: parsmad68 Date: Mon 10th Nov 2025. 06:26 The impromptu applause from everyone seemed like the correct thing to do irrespective of whether the ref or the announcer maybe got it wrong as everyone joined in. I was confused also as I had expected the silence but I also applaud the support for collectively joining in. Definitely the right thing for everyone to do. In addition, the Saints fans were excellent in their half time applause to a NW supporter who recently passed away. Reply |

I anticipated them going to the edge of the centre circle, turning inward, and the ref blowing - when they kept walking, i don`t think anyone knew what to do, leading to that awkward end Show us yer....
