Verstappen is on a roll but I think after winning this race last year, Norris will get the podium finish he requires. Piastri could pip them but I don`t see it. Post Edited (Mon 01 Dec 05:54) Reply |

3. Author: SusieQ Date: Mon 1st Dec 2025. 07:34 McLaren screwing Oscar! What a comeback from Max over the last 12 races - he was sooo far behind, to be in with a shout in the final race is crazy / amazing. Hope he does it but can`t see Norris blowing it THAT badly, unfortunately. COME ON YE PARS! Reply
4. Author: d3monstrate Date: Mon 1st Dec 2025. 12:39 Between the top 3, Lando has it in the bag... However it will come down to what other teams get involved at the front. Track should suit Mercedes a bit more, who knows what Ferrari will turn up with. Sainz is in good form and the low drag Williams could do well again.... Really looking forward to it! Reply
5. Author: Bandy Date: Fri 5th Dec 2025. 16:04 I really hope Lando doesn`t win it - he`s got BY FAR the quickest car on the grid, which is fine it`s F1, but he`s also been the beneficiary of some baffling `team orders` to keep him ahead of Piastri. Either Piastri or Verstappen would be more deserving. I don`t like Verstappen at all, but he`s the best driver on the grid by a mile (and arguably the best ever), so I`d like to see driving talent win out over fastest car + team orders Reply

8. Author: Bandy Date: Sun 7th Dec 2025. 21:14 When Piastri was told to move over so Lando could win a race, whilst Piastri was leading the championship. I found that baffling. Reply

10. Author: PARrot Date: Mon 8th Dec 2025. 04:36 Bandy, Sun 7 Dec 21:14 There was nothing baffling about it. It was fully explained at the time. Norris was winning fair and square. The pit team fecked up a tyre change and cost him his position. It was down to that error that Piastri took the lead. He was told to correct the team error. Reply
11. Author: Bandy Date: Mon 8th Dec 2025. 07:33 PARrot, Mon 8 Dec 04:36 Team errors happen all the time, poor strategy calls, set up mistakes, mechanical failures...which certainly aren`t all `corrected`. Reply
12. Author: SusieQ Date: Mon 8th Dec 2025. 07:47 Lando needs to give a massive thanks to Kimi for going wide in the last race when he was struggling to get past! What a comeback from Max - did absolutely everything he could to win the title from so far back just a few races ago. Not a fan of McLaren or Norris but that was a brilliant season. Hopefully they`ll let Oscar win it next year (he was never gonna get to win it before golden boy) - he was also fantastic this season. COME ON YE PARS! Reply
13. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Mon 8th Dec 2025. 14:23 PARrot, Mon 8 Dec 04:36 So Norris’ pit crew f**ked up, costing him time and place, so the team order was to let him win? Nah, thats utter p**h and Pistri been screwed. Reply
14. Author: ipswichpar Date: Mon 8th Dec 2025. 15:02 Would Piastri have won the title if a different decision was made? Who knows. I think there`s a chance they might have both lost it the way things turned out. I found it strange how they focussed so much for so long on the Constructors.... I know there is big money attached but it was clear they were going to win it for a mile for ages. Reply
15. Author: PARrot Date: Mon 8th Dec 2025. 16:10 Dave_1885, Mon 8 Dec 14:23 That isnt remotely close to what was said. Norris was winning and likely would have won. The order was to go back to where they were before the bad pitstop. That allowed piastri the same opportunity to challenge Norris as he had before the error. Had it not been corrected you might argue that one of piastris pals on the team sabbotaged Norris. Reply
16. Author: DBP Date: Mon 8th Dec 2025. 18:04 Actually you’re missing a bit, Norris didn’t take his pit stop slot (he had first shot as he was winning), and to help the team, ie piastri, her let him take his shot and stop first it was said that if needed they worked so what they’d done previously which was Lando to let piastri past for similar thing Reply
17. Author: red-star-par Date: Mon 8th Dec 2025. 19:15 I`ve got to say, despite taking an interest in most sports, I can`t really get into Formula 1 at all. It`s just so very, very boring. I can`t actually understand people that like it, some really boring people in the pub are right into it, to the point that they actually have Ferrari flags in their gardens and have that kind of tiresome banter about whose team is best. I had never heard of this Lando guy until yesterday. I usually like my sports stars to have dragged themselves up through adversity, pushing themselves to the limit to be a champion, I just don`t get that with Formula 1 drivers, they all tend to be little rich kids that have never had to do anything for themselves. I`d hoped maybe this Lando kid would have had a great back story, maybe born into poverty, learned how to drive hot wiring BMWs on south London, worked two jobs to get a foot in the door, but, surprise, surprise it turns out his multi-millionaire Pension trader daddy bought everything for him, his 16k a term school bent over backwards to give him time off to go racing, and he fled the UK at the first chance he got and headed to Monaco, to avoid paying taxes Reply
18. Author: SusieQ Date: Mon 8th Dec 2025. 19:29 That`s EXACTLY what I dont like about Norris - absolutely comes across as an utter spoilt brat imo. I`ve been watching F1 for a long time (I remember watching that horrible weekend in Imola) but did go off it for a while, then got fed up with the Mercedes domination a few years back. It does annoy me nowadays that a lot of the time the qualifying session decides who wins and I don`t watch half as many races as I used to. Having said that, the comeback from Max this season was epic - to come from so far behind to lose the Championship by 2 points was a phenomenal effort. It`s also annoying that it`s rich kids that get in - I watched a young French lad progress through F3 to F2 and win the championship but he relied on funding to race the season he won and was never given a chance in F1, while other drivers were promoted without hardly winning a race, never mind a championship. There IS progression but it`s not always the right youngsters who are promoted into the race seats. COME ON YE PARS! Reply
19. Author: doctordandruff Date: Mon 8th Dec 2025. 21:30 Always loved F1, but went off it when DRS was introduced. May as well have included red shells and speed mushrooms on the track, took jeopardy out of overtaking. The modern race tracks are too safe, run off areas are too large and street circuits absolutely suck. Started watching again as my son has got into it, but cant sit through a race any more. F1, golf, darts etc seem to have lost all personalities. It cant be just down to being on Sky. Reply
