Author: ipswichpar Date: Thu 11th Dec 2025. 16:42 Keep away from snotty nosed kids And while it is earlier (and may be a worse virus) it`s not *that* much worse just now than some previous years. It may be a political message to put a bit of pressure on the Resident Doctors I have heard that the flu jab might not be brilliantly aligned with the virus going around. Even if this is true.... i`m definitely not saying avoid getting a fly jab..... just don`t get complacent because you have had it! Reply |

Also seems to be a bit of a super spreader. My wife had it a couple of weeks ago and it seems loads have come down with it. It`s that time of year for office parties so it`ll spread like wildfire. But , the latest one I caught really knocked seven bells of keech out of me for about 10 days and I`m only really getting back on an even keel now. I am the wrong side of 50 now so maybe I should start getting these yearly jabs. Admin ![]() Reply |
