Land isn’t always a resource and resources aren’t always land so they get classed differently (high school modern studies. I don’t know why I still remember that) Yes religion can also be a reason but most major conflicts will include one of the main 3. For example - the first crusades were to retake land that had been conquered (Spain, Portugal and I think parts of France). No doubt there was religious reasons as well so it’s not like they’re exclusive of each other. COYP Reply |
