| 21. Author: Westies squint kicks Date: Tue 24th Feb 2026. 17:02 Two local vets (3 bridges and Inglis) have their pricing structures on the website. There`s significant differences for the same treatment, is the service for something like a yearly booster going to be any different that justifies one being £48 and the other £77 ? I don`t doubt some vets are more skilled than others but administering a routine injection shouldn`t be 62% more. Reply |

Author: Hoolie Date: Tue 24th Feb 2026. 19:24 I had a westie..allergic to grass and £100 later got tablets from vets(ingils).. no difference and our dog groomer told us to give him the antihistamines you get from Aldi. Pop 1 in his meal at night and after 3/4 days all was good. She said if they are feeling not well/hot a quarter paracetamol. Lived for 17 years on the meds humans take. Reply |

Spot on Hoolie Coco (Lab) is allergic to grass seeds in the summer plus the corn mites .. chews her paws .. 1 piriton every day sorts it .. Also our last dog had joint problems so a half soluble disprin in her water did the trick We are forever shaped by the Children we once were Reply |

My wife has our new dog registered at the vets in Rosyth - can’t remember their name but I’m sure someone here will. Apparently they are cheaper than Inglis but obviously more expensive than McNeil. Plus it’s only in Rosyth so 5 mins from the house COYP Reply |
