| 1. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Sun 15th Mar 2026. 09:22 What a watch……if Louis wasn’t already on the verges of a national treasure, this documentary must push him into it. His interviewing technique of asking questions that allow his subjects to tie themself into numerous knots they cant get out of is outstanding! But also on the point of the subjects of this one - did they really think they could outsmart him? Was that their aim of going on his documentary? Its a great watch and also brilliant to see Louis fight back with them and call them out for their attitudes and misinformation. “Mummy, I don’t want a juice box” will now become an internet sensation in its own right! I didn`t really know what to expect, I`m probably a bit naive with the subject, but what a frightening eye-opener. I don`t really know what to say about the subject, I`m proud to be a bit old fashioned, brought up to treat ladies (and everyone) with respect, hold doors open, don`t cheat etc. This world of male dominance is terrifying. According to my lad, who had heard of most of the "influencers", a huge amount of teenagers, both male and female, follow them and believe their messages. Thankfully my boy seems to view it all with the same disgust I do, but it seems to be very mainstream in the youth culture. Theroux, as always, was brilliant. He plays the "dumb Middle class gent" routine to his advantage, and let`s the subjects slay themselves. He has the ability to say more by his silence at the appropriate time, and it`s those moments that are most damning. I`m a bit numb/sickened by the whole culture, and the fact it is so widespread. You can go to the gym or eat donuts, I don`t care, I`ll make money either way". I can`t knock the guy, hes made a huge amount of money from his business. It`s the following that causes concern. Schoolboys and young men who blindly hang off every word, thinking these guys are the messiah, they are the ones who act on the message. With that being said when I look at Andrew Tate - he’s obviously got a big wallet but he’s just as big of a bell end. I get that folk are worried about male role models but I don’t think it’s an issue that really changed. As much as a 13year old looks at flashy videos and can be influenced by them, the young folk today are growing up entrenched in it.
