Just looking out the window at my very green overgrown garden as the rain bounces off the windows again. Where the F*** is it ?

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

The question of the summer - "Do I wear a jacket today, or just carry it with me for later?"

Just spent 2 days roaming Skye in a t-shirt. No wind or rain. Very bizarre

If you check the news this is the hottest june on record ever because of climate change, the maps on tv all red and threatening, it`s definitely an abnormally hot summer, no?

I don`t wanna go down like disco.

It’s a bugger trying to work oot what to wear. Rain = brolly
Windy = nae brolly / resemble Mary Poppins
Hot and clammy = frock and nae jacket
All of the above = fek knows

BBC weather app shows rain every day for the next 13 days.

Last year we had about 2 weeks worth of rain between May and September, this year looks like 2 weeks worth of sun in that time!

Anyone that now denies that climate change is a real thing is completely off their rocker.

Was out in Tenerife April into May, returning for Cup Final, weather was pretty crap for there.
Jackets on at night, very windy & cloudy, been strange weather since January according to locals!

Ain`t just our wee country.🌦🌩☔️

The BBC weather app is mental just now. It appears that if a single hour has more than 30% chance of rain it gets marked rain (not sure how the 70% feels about that... clearly two tier meteorologising).

And if one hour has this chance of rain, then the whole day seems to get that assigned.

Over the last 4 weeks, if I had followed the BBC app I`m not sure I would have left the house much.

The UK Rain Radar site seems to be quite good if you try and extrapolate the observed records with what is forecast. Kept me inside and dry this morning at least.

It`s not really chance of rain. It`s a combination of chance of rain and the % of the area affected.

Whatever formula they are using their results are poor in terms of how it is forecasted and presented.

Global warming just feels like another promise that has failed to deliver. Broken Britain.

Because the correct term is climate change. Scotland is due to have hotter and wetter summers, so more storms and milder but also wetter winters. God help us when the gulf stream stops

Climate has never stopped changing. Ever.

We’ve just been lucky we’re living in an extended period of pretty consistent and stable weather.

Up until around 12,000 years ago the weather was much more volatile. Much hotter. Much colder. Huge swings.
