| 19. Author: parsmad68 Date: Thu 13th Aug 2026. 00:36 I was in Bradford during the 1999 eclipse and i could clearly see the eclipse but felt it was a bit of a let down. Last nights was much better, mainly because I experienced the change of animal behaviour. My domestic cats and wild birds seem to ignore their differences and the world went very quiet for a good 20 minutes. Further east in Fife it was better ,I expect, than Dunfermline due to cloud cover. The temperature drop was noticeable also. Better at home than in a city as you see the changes in wildlife. Reply |
