| 1. Author: FosterM735 Date: Tue 15th Sep 2026. 12:51 Not football related, but this seems like the sort of place where people tinker with random internet stuff, so here goes. I`ve been trying out the newer browser-based AI image tools lately. The interesting shift is that they now take multiple reference images, not just text prompts - so you can feed in a photo, a sketch and a description and get something coherent out of it. One I`ve been using is Muse Image (https://muse-image.co/) - it does text-to-image, then lets you edit and refine the result iteratively in the same workspace, combining references as you go. I`ve mostly used it for posters and product-style visuals. Curious if anyone here has found practical uses for these things - matchday graphics, fantasy league badges, playlist covers, that kind of thing. | 4. Author: ipswichpar Date: Tue 15th Sep 2026. 13:29 I`ve used nano banana previously. Not for any professional or meaningful stuff. It seems now to be stricter on creating images of people. I`ve certainly seen more use of it on LinkedIn over the last year or so. There was that spate of folk creating an action-person toy image of themselves that loads of people seemed to try. God knows how many trees that cost. In recent months there certainly does seem to be an increase in folk using it as you suggest. I think Dunfermline & Carnegie cricket use it to publish their team scores weekly.... and I would expect lots of local sports clubs do the same. This one, for example, shows the club, some famous faces from the town and a place to park your bike. Reply |

| 8. Author: ipswichpar Date: Tue 15th Sep 2026. 18:35 It`s cheaper and faster. It lets folk at the top of the tree cream off more. What could go wrong..... And now that they think it might destroy the world. The answer? Get government to regulate more (which they definitely didnt want before). I suspect that bit is going to get expensive and they want the state to pick up the tab. Obviously, those that they have sacked or ruined their jobs will be saving paying tax... lucky them. Reply |
| 9. Author: Cleveland12 Date: Tue 15th Sep 2026. 19:41 More and more young people (including myself) will just outright avoid or ignore businesses using AI slop posters and logos. I don’t buy the excuse it’s to save time or money. Canva is free and full of templates, even something on Microsoft paint is more appealing. If we don’t support and fund creative people then the industry dies off. Heading for a generation of mindless doom scrolling. Reply |

Author: P Date: Tue 15th Sep 2026. 22:29 Andrew283, Tue 15 Sep 17:24 Most of the rinse and repeat AI you see locally is because everyone uses the same prompts (80’s trend on socials being an irritating example). The genie is out of the bottle and creativity on one hand will be diminished by AI but new creativity will be born through creative prompt engineering. Already I see people using lazy repetitive prompts which spit out simple and obvious AI responses but I also see people with an aptitude and a recognition of the creative opportunities that it presents too. Even professionally, those that are good with it, with their output you wouldn’t be aware of AI’s involvement. That said I tried to put jarjar binks in a Scotland top after today’s squad announcement but was rejected for copyright reasons Post Edited (Tue 15 Sep 22:33) Reply |
