Author: Bamba-Daft Date: Wed 23rd Sep 2026. 18:59 da_no_1, Sun 20 Sep 17:38 Doesn`t help keeping the costs down when you do what I did today......too busy trying to hit the 30.00 on the nose, didn`t notice it was the litres I was watching......costing £51.57 🤔 About as bad as mine. Didn’t realise the pump I stopped at was the only the Vpower diesel or whatever er it’s called at the garage on Halbeath Road. £2.20 a litre! Reply
23. Author: Big T Par Date: Wed 23rd Sep 2026. 20:46 Been delivering blood to kvh every day this week and the shell garage that`s close to the hospital, it`s prices has went up 2p daily. Can`t remember prices coming down on a day by day basis. Absolutely ripping the erchie out of us. Reply

Petrol companies are at it now, all about greed and profit. Supermarket prices going up too Ive noticed - wages not moved though 😂 Reply

29. Author: OzPar Date: Sun 27th Sep 2026. 08:34 I don`t know what the situation in the UK is, but here in Australia, our fuel stocks are becoming a serious cause for concern. We have a website called "Lastdrop.au" that reports our oil stocks in real time. We are supposed to have a minimum stockholding of 90 days` supply, but Australia`s performance against that 90-day obligation has been inadequate for a long time—even before the Middle East conflict. Currently, we have stocks equivalent to 33.6 days of petrol consumption, 26.4 days of diesel, and 22.5 days of jet fuel. What concerns me most are the stats showing that on ships bound for Australia, we only have 2.4 days of petrol, 1.4 days of diesel and 1.3 days of jet fuel. We look to be heading for a world of trouble. Our fuel prices are similar to yours at the moment, but the price increases at the pump are accelerating. Consumer prices more broadly have risen quite dramatically in recent months. Trucks use diesel, and we have huge distances between population centres. Unless the supply situation improves—and who is confident of that?—I fear that we could face restrictions on fuel purchases or even rationing at petrol stations very soon. And I doubt too many of us will be flying very far for a while. Reply
