2. Author: jake89 Date: Wed 3rd Jul 2024. 17:32 More dribbling. There is only one viable party in Scotland seeking independence. Labour have said no to even discussing it. Reply |
3. Author: Tenruh Date: Wed 3rd Jul 2024. 17:42 jake89, Wed 3 Jul 17:32 Scotland will decide tomorrow who that party is. Hopefully that one viable party will reach the magical 29 MPs to set us free, or will it be another false down..what`s it gonna be boy.... I think I know the answer, what do you think though ? 6. Author: wee eck Date: Wed 3rd Jul 2024. 18:16 There are some quite big differences between what the polls are predicting will be the split of seats in Scotland. It`s hard to understand why that should be the case. Reply |
7. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Wed 3rd Jul 2024. 18:38 I will go for SNP holding 32 seats tomorrow - the silent majority will come through at the polls, including winning seats from failed tactical voting. The real hope for tomorrow is that the Tories return zero seats, along with Reform, but cant see only the SNP, Labour and Lin Dems winning seats. Alba will flop with 0 as well I reckon. Reply |
8. Author: Tad Allagash Date: Wed 3rd Jul 2024. 19:25 Electoral Calculus is predicting the number of seats won in Scotland as: Labour 36 SNP 15 Lib Dems 5 Tories 1 I’ve no idea how accurate this is likely to be. There are lots of marginal seats that could go either way. Post Edited (Wed 03 Jul 19:40) Reply |
9. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Wed 3rd Jul 2024. 19:29 Tad Allagash, Wed 3 Jul 19:25 Polls are very wild predictions in reality though……how do you get an accurate representation of 57 seats with a 1000 person poll? I cant see Labour winning 36 seats in Scotland…… Reply |
10. Author: jake89 Date: Wed 3rd Jul 2024. 20:19 Labour will get 30+, SNP low 10s. They`re dead for the foreseeable. Labour will make zero difference. They`re Tories with red ties. We`ve seen them get into bed with the Tories in places like Fife and they`ve made a complete arse if things already. Reply |
11. Author: Tenruh Date: Wed 3rd Jul 2024. 20:39 jake89, Wed 3 Jul 20:19 I`ll go with SNP getting between 18 and 22 MPs. Be good to see them sitting on the back benches. They`re already sucking up to English Labour so watch this space come the Scottish election. Reply |
12. Author: jake89 Date: Wed 3rd Jul 2024. 21:31 Can you give example of them sucking up to English Labour? Reply |
13. Author: The One Who Knocks Date: Wed 3rd Jul 2024. 22:25 If anyone thinks SNP can win more seats in Scotland than Labour then the bookies will still quadruple your money if you`re confident of that outcome. And although my eyes were open They just might as well be closed Reply |
14. Author: The One Who Knocks Date: Wed 3rd Jul 2024. 22:56 In fact if you reckon SNP can win more than thirty seats the bookies are giving you 7/1! And although my eyes were open They just might as well be closed Reply |
