Try and get it right parboiled

Wrong:-

As Churchill would put it- This not yet the end, but the end of the beginning of the end of the start of the beginning..

Right :-

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning

Nothing better than a Scot Nat putting a Brit Nat right on British history. 😊😊😊

When I saw the thread title I assumed it was another xenophobic rant about immigration from the Orient.

Regardless what happens tomorrow independence will be given a huge boost after we have been subjected to two years of the Red Tories. People will soon realise that Tory/Labour are just two cheeks of the same arse. A Labour gov and Farage gaining in popularity in England is going to be a god send….for SNP.

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Do they have enough bums to fill one Westminster bench, or have have some of the broad in the beam types also survived to make it a tighter squeeze?

I rarely post on here nowadays but find it quite funny that no one has ever clicked who this actually is. A complete and utter wind up merchant.

What a relief to know he isn`t really xenophobic, homophobic, sexist, mysogynistic or fattist but is only pretending to be.

Alternatively, it`s your average Daily Mail reader 😂

I wonder if we`ll see those now unemployed SNP MPs who are blaming Sturgeon go to another party?

Not many I would think.

Where would they go?

Alba? Looks like a busted flush. Polled really badly, even in the couple of places where they theoretically might have stood a chance like Alloa and Grangemouth where they had a relatively household name and a big local issue. Salmond didn`t help by saying it was about 2026 (i.e. that they weren`t ready yet) when Reform could poll much better from a standing start and by not standing himself.

Labour? I`m not sure any would be welcome and they would be way down the batting order in getting a seat.

What`s more likely is they will try for Holyrood, and in the meantime bide their time to see which way the wind blows leader-wise.

Alba sunk itself by having Salmond involved. That`s nothing against Salmond - he`s a great politician but one whose name has been sullied.

Salmond is right about it being about 2026 but that`s where I wonder about his "super majority" plan. Could Alba and the SNP find some common ground to link up? The alternative will be a Lab-Lib coalition or *shudder* a Lab-Con one.

Labour are on the charm offensive in Scotland but the proof will be in the pudding.

I can`t see how these NHS waiting lists throughout the UK are going to reduce significantly without more cash from Westminster. And where are all these extra doctors going to come from?

Thought they were all awaiting clearance in the asylum queues?
No?
