So far thirteen papers on Scotland post independence have been published by Scotgov, and a final one will “round off the process” according to total vacuum heided Shona Robison.

Working title “ One more on the road to nowhere” perhaps?

Meanwhile, in other news -

`The cost of a “bat shed” to protect a species in woodland along the new HS2 high-speed line has risen to more than £100m, HS2’s chair has revealed.

The 1km-long mesh structure will be built where the London-Birmingham high-speed line emerges from a tunnel in Buckinghamshire, to protect a colony of Bechstein’s bats.

Describing it as a “blot on the landscape” built with “no evidence” that bats were at risk from the trains, Sir Jon Thompson said: “This shed, you’re not going to believe this, cost more than £100m.”`

Imagine having aspirations for your country to be a normal independent country, have control over your own economy, abundant resources, immigration etc. ……What a silly idea.

Better to let a bunch of incompetent, corrupt, failed governments in England decide what’s best for us eh? I mean they have a great track record don’t they……..as the UK descends into complete chaos….Let’s stick with it, they might get it right …..hard to imagine though isn’t it as they have had long enough and things progressively get worse. Got to hand it to the Scots though, we don’t give up easily…..

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Well, there’s no Minister for Independence now, they’ve given up but dream on regardless!

I see the SNP had three donations in excess of £200k each in the third quarter of 2024.

That should make up for some of the short money they previously enjoyed .

Maybe they`ll not have to make 30% of their staff redundant now ?

And no doubt a humongous donation from Sturgeon when her memoir starts flying off the shelves!

The terrible twins in unison again; uncanny.

With its presentation of policies re WFA, national insurance, inheritance tax, retention of the two-child benefits cap, etc, Labour make the SNP look competent!

Labour in England now 3rd after Reform. They have managed to blow it in less than 6 months in office.

It`s just a matter of time before this is reflected in Scottish opinion polls but sub-polls from the uK polls show the SNP increasing the lead over Labour.

Independence supporters have only the SNP to support now.

What have you and your fellow troughers done in the last 10 years for independence?

The SNP are not the independence movement . That was driven home to them by the public in July.....you and your ilk will get another day of reckoning in 2026.

The best you'll get is a coalition with BliS...and the minority party at that.

Where's it all gone wrong from the heady days of 2014.....

Labour may be unpopular due to their left wing cash grab which has so enraged the conservative media but fortunately for Labour the next general election isn`t until 2029.
The extra billions that these Labour tax rises have added to the Scottish budget has been a boon to the snp and so paradoxically could negatively impact their chances at Holyrood in eighteen months. Could.

And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

The SNP have been in power in the Scottish Parliament for 17 years, and that in itself would indicate change, but the last 10 years of failure and the recent UK results guarantee it.
Not great news for us and the benefits we enjoyed from the first 7 years of SNP government.
Once British Labour take control of the Scottish Parliament they`re going to unravel all the benefits achieved.

So Labour will "unravel all the benefits achieved" in the *checks notes* "10 years of failure" and the solution to prevent Labour getting in is to not vote for the party who would stop them 🤔

Who is the party most likely to deliver independence, Tenruh?

None, the SNP are now full of devolutionists and troughers who sat back the last 10 years vilifying anyone outside their circle who tried to move independence forward until we the electorate muck out the byre I see no road to Independence.

The process has started already, The SNP got 57 of the 59 MPs in the 2015 Westminster election , now they have 9 out of 57 MPs.

Are political parties going to achieve independence for Scotland ?

Theres a move to bring the Independence movement together and formulate a process going forward but there`s one group who would appear not to want involved.

Incredibly Independence is over 50% at the moment and and with leadership and drive that will increase.

So the plan is...?

Groups like Salvo are doing some good work but they need people in power to make change.

So the plan is ???

That`s a good question, a country in a union of equals but cannot leave because the other country they share the union with won`t allow them to....that looks like a good start point.
