| 1. Author: wee eck Date: Thu 29th May 2025. 14:08 Douglas Ross was asked to leave the chamber at Holyrood today for heckling John Swinney during FMQs. Apparently he told reporters afterwards that he wasn`t happy he hadn`t been warned in advance about his behaviour, despite the fact that he`s a serial offender in this respect and is warned about it just about every week. He seems to have trouble dealing with the lack of coverage he gets since relinquishing the leadership of the Scottish Tories. Reply |

Swinney tried to blame Brexit for for the woes that face farmers and deflecting from answering whether he would implement the Climate Scam Committee`s recommendations of a 25% reduction in sheep and cattle in Scotland. The committee also recommended a 45% reduction in meat consumption over a 40 year period. No farmers, no food. Some rules are honored in the breach rather than the observance. He interrupted a further time. He was asked to leave the chamber due to persistent interruptions. He refused. He was asked to leave again. He went off in a strop. Ross is a fanny. He always has been and always will be. As he`s a referee, what would his response be to red carding someone for persistent fouling? Would he accept them going to the press claiming bias? Of course not. The guy`s an idiot and a bully. Reply |

| 7. Author: McCaig`s Tower Date: Fri 30th May 2025. 18:25 I think if someone was red-carded for persistent fouling they`d be entitled to be a bit miffed as it`s only a cautionable offence. I was watching FMQs - the Presiding Officer gave no warning - she moved to dismissal immediately. The arguments in her favour are that she has given warnings in previous weeks, and that the Tories are the worst offenders at heckling. The arguments against are that other Presiding Officers have been more permissive and that other parties appear to get away with rude and offensive remarks - so inconsistency in treatment both between POs and by the current PO. Of course, it`s not always possible to hear what is being said either at home, or in the chamber as it can be quite noisy. Reply |

| 9. Author: jake89 Date: Fri 30th May 2025. 19:46 It looks like they`ve cut it from the video but it`s worth highlighting this isn`t Ross` first offence. The guy`s a balloon. I think he forgets he`s in Holyrood and not Westminster (gets confusing when you`ve got three jobs) and shouting out, jeering and taking over people isn`t tolerated. He got exactly what he deserved and is likely now embarrassed of his own childish behaviour. Reply |

| 12. Author: jake89 Date: Fri 30th May 2025. 22:11 I`m sure it`ll come out eventually but Ross and AC-H are known bullies. AC-H required therapy to cope with online bullying yet clearly didn`t reflect on how is own attitude affects others. I suppose they say most bullys are a result of being bullied themselves. Reply |
