A 15% tariff slapped on all EU imports into the US (the UK negotiated 10%) and the Europeans have agreed to , over the next three years buy $750 billion worth of oil, nuclear fuel, LNG and semiconductors while at the same time investing $600 billion into the US ,mostly by buying American military equipment. One of the big arguments against leaving the EU is that the bigger bloc would be able to negotiate better terms than the UK could on its own. Well they couldn`t this time. And although my eyes were open They just might as well be closed Reply |
