Author: jake89 Date: Fri 5th Sep 2025. 16:30 Apparently quoted in saying the £5m that didn`t come to Dunfermline in the end would`ve been a waste of money and it would`ve been better out towards HS2 going to Edinburgh or Glasgow. 1. It was HIS party who committed to the funding. 2. Unless HS2 has flying trains, it can`t possibly reach anywhere in Scotland. 3. Delivering HS2 to Scotland for £5m would be a genuine miracle. When all is said and done, £5 million won`t buy a great deal of public infrastructure these days. Still, it could have gone a long way to employing workers to beautify the city, whether by cleaning the exteriors of old buildings, painting them, or landscaping corners that had been neglected and overlooked over time. Simple strategies like these can make a big difference in the way we view and interact with our surroundings. Reply |
