(They both earned a very good salary), but that she had to sign off on the accounts as FM. Dougie Chapman and others raised concerns and stepped down as treasurer because they weren’t allowed proper scrutiny of the accounts. The missing ring fenced Indy fund on top of that and Murrell was clearly shifty for many years before any Campervan etc came to light. When Sturgeon became First Minister, the clear thing to do was to appoint a new chief executor to avoid speculation about having her husband in the role. He wasn`t that high an earner in the grand scheme of things. Most of the time 70k-80k. So it seems weird Sturgeon couldn`t simply work out that post tax earnings couldn`t support those purchases. The unionist media are loving it though, if this had been the Tory party it would have made the front pages for a day or two and then forgotten about. We`ve got a UK Government all bought and paid for by Israel, a Monarch that takes bin bags full of £2.6 million in cash from Qatari chaps, Farage taking the odd 5million of dodgy crypto wealth, billions taken from the public coffers for a COVID track n trace programme, Epstein flying planes into UK Air Force bases, the UK is corrupt to the core Reply |
