I got my first PC in December 1996 and dafc.net had been on the go for a wee while then - so my guess is 1st August 1995. (That's for the old site that Douglas Scott ran)

I will guess 14/05/1995 and one of the first posters was S Starr...

BTW, I did not get a computer until May 2004 and was not aware of this site until 2003, so the above is purely guess work... :)

We got t'internet in late 1998 and the old noticeboard was about then, so I will guess 15th November 1996 as fcda stole my other answer!

Moved on to .net in 2000 i think as that is when I became the mighty BoA!

I think it was defo after 1652 as the internet was only invented in 1747 I'm sure (the year after Culloden).

I'll, however, go for 14/7/2005.

I was on the mailing list for a while at uni, and the site had been going for a good few years before that. So I'm going for 1st August, 1995.

I would guess that this is a special year - 10th anniversary, so will guess 16 Nov 1996.

Good thinking Granda - I'll go for 15 years and 15th Nov 1991.

Was going to suggest Fu as one of the first, but obviously not, going on his post higher up!

So I'll go for Marchmont as he was the fanzine dude back in the day :oD

(PS - Turpie, Chico is still alive and well - he was "spotted" at the Falkirk game!)

COME ON YE PARS!
