This is a valid point. KRH performed well in a team flying high at the top of the table is he a player who needs confidence or is he just struggling to adjust to life in the championship? Only time will tell.

KRH probably plays his best in the final third. More opportunities to do that in league 1 against lesser part-time opposition.

My point exactly so is he a good league 1 player but struggles with the step up as he won`t be the only one.

I think you’re being harsh on him. He is good enough to be playing in a Championship team. I would prefer to see him on the right and McCann on the left. We tend to hit cross balls left to right and to me it makes sense to be aiming that towards McCann rather than KRH

I totally agree with you. I would love to see him on the right , playing in front of Comrie. When we had Kevin Ohara playing there he and Comrie had a great partnership. Just think with KRH and Comrie setting up a partnership down that side, would be superb.

☝🏻 100% agree

Ironically on Saturday, playing down the left, he looked more like his old self . Of course he might have been just as effective down the right.

I actually agree to an extent, his biggest problem was that he swung his left foot a couple of times at it and it was very poorly done. When he couldn’t cut back he couldn’t offer a cross 🤷🏻‍♂️ I think if he was on the right he would have at least put some sort of quality in.

Think it’s a confidence issue with Kane? He did take his full back on more on Saturday but, as said already, was let down as his left is quite weak

100%. I recall one Raith game last season when Callum Smith dispossessed him early on and after that he never tried to beat him again for the rest of the match.

I recall the game against Dundee Utd last season.
Kane Ritchie was on fire. He set up Matty Todd to
score our 1st goal. Then he scored a cracker for our,
2cd goal., and the he scored a good goal in the 2cd half.
So this is an example of what Kane is capable of doing
in the right team set up.

Or not consistent enough to do it on a regular basis. Take 200000 shots, law of averages tells you at least one will go in.

Just a thought. If he played for us every week like he did that night he would be gone.

But you knew that surely?

The injuries to him and Todd at the start of last season really hampered us collectively and a lot of the momentum we`d built up the season before kind of peetered out as a result as they were definitely two of our biggest attacking threats.

Hope they can stay injury free and in KRH case get some confidence back as he looks a shadow of the player who burst onto the scene on loan. Granted the level of opposing defender is a up a notch.

Still not convinced with him when I see him play - which admittedly is rarely just now. But may just be raw, or may not be good enough, only time will tell really.

Need a proper attacking coach amongst the staff I feel to push these guys on.

I just don`t see him pushing on he just seems another one who looks good in league 1 but is struggling to adjust to the championship.

Until his assist on Saturday he had done nothing for months. He played down the right against Partick last week and his performance was poor. He is very lightweight so is easily pushed off the ball and his tackling is poor. Over-hyped by many a Pars fan as is Matty Todd.

As is matty todd? Away and have a word wi yourself man

As much improved as matty has been and he’s had some good games and goals since he came back last season, he needs to get a much longer run of games or we’ll just never see the best of him.

23 years old now and not being talked about a potential cash in sale in the same way as otoo, here’s hoping he gets fit in next few weeks and stays fit for the remainder of the season and adds goals and assists to his game.

How many shots do you think that KRH would get
if he played every game for a full season. It certainly
would be nothing near 200000.

I didn`t say he has 200000 shots a game but let`s gloss over that. He hasn`t been as effective as he was while he was on loan. Yes he has had injuries but hasn`t really been effective when he has played.

I think KRH has a lot of talent. He was unlucky with injuries, so no doubt it takes time to get back up to speed. I thought he played well on Saturday. Part of being effective is that you put defenders under pressure, draw out other defenders to cover, etc. Sometimes, you only need that one opportunity to beat the defender and get the ball in the box. Obviouslyi. In this division, it`s tougher, but it`s about playing against these teams and learning and improving.

He has bulked up a bit which I think he needed for this league, so I hope he can kick on this season, grow in confidence and develop his potential into the player that we can see is in there.
