We`re on a roll........ McPake must stay...... Our German investors must stay..... Partick will be crapping themselves....... Not your average Sunday League player. Reply |
2. Author: veteraneastender Date: Wed 30th Oct 2024. 08:59 What a difference the first goal, especially early doors, can make. I still reckon we should go for McCabe at Airdrie, he`ll be available soon !!! Reply |

5. Author: Paralex Date: Wed 30th Oct 2024. 12:47 I do hope that GG is right about the Partick comment. I will be bringing my Thistle supporting buddy to the game and since I had to endure a last minute winner while sitting beside him at Firhill recently I`m very much hoping we will do a number on them and send my pal home to think again. In the very nicest possible way, of course. Another 3 zero would be very acceptable. Reply |

Tongue in cheek - some hereabouts have said he`d make a good replacement for McPake - however the league table might suggest otherwise. Reply |

11. Author: cammypar 1995 Date: Wed 30th Oct 2024. 16:32 wee eck, Wed 30 Oct 13:52 Can we get 2 league wins in a row for the first time this season on Saturday. If so we have put ourselves in a better position than it looked on Saturday night. c'mon the pars Reply |
12. Author: wee eck Date: Wed 30th Oct 2024. 16:44 It`s been a tough start to the second quarter, playing the first and second teams, but we`ve got 3 points which is 3 more than we managed against them in the first quarter. If we win on Saturday we will have already equalled our total points from the first quarter! Reply |
13. Author: GG Riva Date: Wed 30th Oct 2024. 16:52 NMCmassive, Wed 30 Oct 09:39 Oh come on NMC, a man has to have standards. Chianti, aye - Buckie naw. I tasted it once, on the day my mate, Ross Allan, and I retired, when he brought a bottle into the staffroom. It`s absolutely vile. I couldn`t believe he`d paid £6 for it. I`d rather drink my own p!$$. 😁 Not your average Sunday League player. Reply |
14. Author: Paralex Date: Wed 30th Oct 2024. 22:33 I think our very good chums from Grangemouth way will be secretly sending very warm congratulations to our side of the Forth for a result that helps them substantially in their quest for automatic promotion. Maybe GG, "Premiership. There.They. Go," might have been a more apt title. And if we do linger another season, we may have Hearts or Hibs to contend with. Happy days. 15. Author: thebear Date: Thu 31st Oct 2024. 00:18 Firstly we`ll done to all, did not see this coming,, let`s get the momentum going now. But as always there is a but ! I have long been a fan of kane, strength and skill, also I have long been critical of our forwards, sadly saturday did not change that, 2 from kane 1 from benedictus, zero from the rest. We need others to score, let`s hope this us the boost that they need. Reply |
16. Author: wee eck Date: Thu 31st Oct 2024. 00:46 How many goals were you expecting us to score against a team with such a good defensive record? Reply |
17. Author: 87Par Date: Thu 31st Oct 2024. 01:10 Oft. Was your alternative tonight for us to lose? To suit Falkirk losing the league. In reference to Paralex Post Edited (Thu 31 Oct 01:11) Reply |
18. Author: Paralex Date: Thu 31st Oct 2024. 02:26 Not at all 87Par, our victory was essential and my observation regarding our assisting Falkirk merely a side issue. Reply |
