42. Author: FA1968 Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 16:56 That was howling.other than Tobi and Mullen I really don’t care who’s arse hits the front door, rotten. Sooner this season does one the better. Sick and tired of watching this dross. Post Edited (Sat 19 Apr 16:58) Reply |

44. Author: OzPar Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 17:02 I can hear the sound of bottles breaking in Grangemouth—three goals from the Rovers right at the end. Liv can still pip Falkirk to the title, and Rovers could yet get into the playoffs at Partick`s expense. Reply |
45. Author: desparado Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 17:03 Eyes bleeding after watching that. Morton have saved us even though they had nothing to play for. This horrible season will soon be over thank goodness. What an opportunity we missed in 2014. Reply |

48. Author: king lad Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 17:08 Not pretty whatsoever, but it looks like that`ll be enough (barring madness) to stay above 9th. I really hope the club can begin to move forward now and overhaul what is largely an inadequate squad for competing at the top end of this division. Reply |
49. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 17:08 Strange that F*lkirk and Livi both have the sane 2 teams for their final 2 games, PT and Hamilton. F*lkirk are pretty much up though as their goal difference is vastly better than Livi`s. Can`t see them losing both games. WE ARE SAFE!!!! I guess they`ll wait until it`s mathematically definite before they announce Neil Lennon signing a longer contract and a new top notch groundsman. Hopefully we can hang onto Tobi for another year as Mehmet still has a year on his contract. Pars fan. Magpies fan. Mens tennis fan. Alternative rock fan. Not a fan of much else. Reply |

51. Author: Never10yairds Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 17:20 Well that second half was pretty awful but looks like we have pretty much done enough (barring a crazy goal difference swing) to stay up. Avoid defeat next week and the Lennon rebuild can begin. The squad needs a good clear out with upgrades in most positions. Reply |
52. Author: doctordandruff Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 17:20 I don`t get Partick`s tactics at all. So negative, barring the utter brain farts in our defense they carried zero interest into scoring goals. Surely playing against a team that doesn`t score, and you need 3 points, you don`t play like that. Maybe banked on Raith losing Reply |

57. Author: RossF Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 17:37 That could get football cancelled but thank god we managed to hold on and scrape a draw. That was argubally the worst strike force in our history with O’Halloran and Yeboah upfront together and Wanyama looked like he’d won a competition when he came on for the last 10 minutes. We were incredibly lucky a few times with our defending in the second half but the main thing is we held on and hopefully that will be enough to keep us up (as surely Hamilton’s appeal will not be successful…) I cannot wait to see the back of this season and hopefully we will have a successful summer and bring in some creatively and talent out wide. 59. Author: kelty_par Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 17:43 Strange game. We had more possession, especially in the first half, but it took until the 90th minute to register a shot on target. Partick had three great chances to score but blew them all, yet in between they were happy to slow it down and waste time and make it an arm wrestle when they had the players to hurt us (especially since our entire back line looked all over the place at times today). Maybe they were banking on Raith losing but they should know that`s not how our league works. In terms of our own team, I really struggled thinking of a Man of the match today. The only viable candidates for me were Tobi, Kane and O`Halloran. Even the usual suspects of Chilokoa-Mullen and Comrie played us into danger several times or slashed at clearances when put under any sort of pressure. Of the others, Clay and Hamilton were fine, Todd was energetic and Fogarty was arguably the best of the back three. The other starters and the subs didn`t do much although again Vooper looked keen coming off the bench and at least had a go at their back line a few times. Final word on Nick Walsh, the referee. Wow. To think he regularly does Premiership games. Clearly doesn`t think persistent fouling, time wasting or making tactical fouls are worthy of a booking and is another in a long line of referees who let Brian Graham do whatever he wants in terms of leading with elbows, mouthing off about decisions, etc. You just knew the first yellow card would be for one of our players and right on cue it was (albeit it was probably deserved). Booking three players for dissent when it was a standard corner kick call and not a penalty or red card or dubious goal takes some doing too. Reply |
60. Author: Berkey Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 17:46 Take a point and run, thistle had all the best chances so lucky not to lose. We looked almost competitive in the first half but did very little with the ball, second half we were very poor and ran out of legs. Todd and Hamilton very poor in there again, gave the ball away constantly. Clay decent again. Absolutely nothing up top once Kane went off and long balls were far too easy for Ashcroft all day, we just don’t compete in the air. 2 games left and we can put the season to bed and hopefully look forward so some decent players arriving next year, as has been said there’s only a couple who should be near the team next year if we want to challenge. Not sure why wanyama is getting anywhere near the park? He can’t actually run. I hope Lennon has better ideas in the transfer market than him! Post Edited (Sat 19 Apr 17:55) Reply |
