Today was a chance for boys who are playing for a contract. If that is the best they can offer then we should show them the door. Yesterday was poor and the consistent performing Mullen was poor yesterday. I`m glad we are ending the season in 6 days time. Hopefully Lenny can get rid of the dead wood and bring in a team capable of playing his style of football and winning us football matches.

Airdrie was more dangerous in the final third yesterday with one well over the line and a good save from Tobi. We had a shot from cooper right at the keeper and that was the best we could offer.

I sit in the main stand in line with the goal line and had a good view of it. I said at the time it was about a foot over the line.

I said I thought it was at least a foot over. There was a tripod behind the goals and I`d assume that it belongs to Airdrie maybe worth looking at their highlights.

I thought NL`s assessment was fair. Airdrie moved the ball better in the final third and created more chances. We offered nothing in the first half. I thought the substitutions at half time were right. I thought Tashan had his best game. He put some sensible balls through, but we didn`t anticipate them. Kane, I thought, was well Marshall ed by the Airdrie defence, so it made it difficult for him. Too many times, we had the time and opportunity to get the ball into the box but didn`t. I am beginning to think that the passing around at the back that was prevalent for most of the season has had the unintended consequence of developing a mindset of avoiding risk taking in decision making when we get into good positions. You are always better to make teams defend in their own box rather than out on the wing where we end up losing the ball, or it goes for a goal kick. Fortune favours the bold.

We`re in the Norrie right behind the goal , and we were all in agreement that it was over the line .
Glad the decision went our way , take it and move on .

Thank god it’s over. Looking forward to hopefully seeing some quality on the park next year, it’s been way too long.

Lenny made a big difference over Tidser but I reckon mcpake would have achieved what we have managed this season playing boring terrible football. Benefit on having Lenny now is hopefully he can attract a better quality of player.

What a shocker of a season it’s been. Bring on the Lenny announcement and some good signings to try and bring back a feel good factor.

Can`t see it to be honest. There was no sign that McPake was going to change to getting the ball forward quicker and that`s the main thing NL has brought in.
Of course his hand might have been forced as the games started to run out but I`m not convinced the players would have performed for him.

I wouldn`t trust mcpake with the spare change on my bedside cabinet. He was the one who left us with no pace and no attacking threat.
