If he looks after himself during the close season and gets a full preseason, I think he could be a real asset. Creativity is something successive managers haven`t prioritised. I`d keep Cooper and look to add a few more who can play in wide areas. Reply |
42. Author: Berkey Date: Tue 6th May 2025. 13:54 Cooper the only one who I would keep, has done okay this season as an impact sub and was underused but still managed 4 goals. I suspect those that of those who are under contract, only mullan, etoo, bray, young and kane will be anywhere near the starting line up come the 1st game of the season. Maybe bene if we prioritise the midfield and forwards in this window. Ideally we can loan allow to leave some of those who are under contract next year, otherwise we’ll have a good first 11 then a big drop off on the bench. 43. Author: DBA Date: Tue 6th May 2025. 14:26 I`d keep Comrie, whether he starts the season will depend on what budget the manager is given, but far more important areas to improve rather than RB for me. Id also like to see Tobi and Fogarty back if possible, but the rest of the out of contract players / loans can go for me. Reply |
44. Author: DunfyDave Date: Tue 6th May 2025. 14:27 There isn`t an area of the park that needs over-hauled. This is a mammoth undertaking but I am confident that we can overcome this if we can secure NL as manager. Goalkeeper and Goal-Scorers is a must and everything else in-between them. DunfyDave Reply |

46. Author: Never10yairds Date: Tue 6th May 2025. 14:46 For me Comrie is a good RB, he covers his defensive duties well. I think he is less effective at RWB. Whether he gets offered a deal probably depends on what system NL wants to play next season and if he thinks Comrie can be developed as a RWB. Reply |

48. Author: kelty_par Date: Tue 6th May 2025. 15:16 Yeah, Comrie is perhaps worth keeping as a right back if we ever go to a back four or as a right centre back in a three. All will depend on whether he thinks he should be a guaranteed starter somewhere as he`d probably have offers at Championship level at least as an orthodox right back. Reply |
49. Author: CrossPar Date: Tue 6th May 2025. 19:22 Bertie Paton, Tue 6 May 08:58 I agree with this 100% We need an upgrade on Comrie if we are to get out of this league at the right end. He works hard but is limited in ability. Reply |
50. Author: coventrypar Date: Tue 6th May 2025. 19:59 As a right back in a back four - you cannot fault him. In a team that has to adapt from 4-4-2 to a back 3 or to 5-3-2 etc the last two options don`t suit him as well. "If you have no kind words to say you should say nothing more at all" Reply |

53. Author: summeragent Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 08:40 Alf, Mon 05 May 19:04 Been a great servant for the Pars, but he is too slow, he is lacking leadership at the back and we definitely need better if we are going to challenge for the top 4. Fogarty would be a great signing if we can get him. Reply |
54. Author: Berry Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 09:23 We ought to be building the foundations for a team in the Premier League, not even the top 4 in my opinion and on that basis I’m more inclined to like to see Benedictus move on. Comrie is a difficult one, he is very consistent but have always thought we could do with someone with a bit more attacking threat which Comrie doesn’t have in spades. 55. Author: steaua Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 09:40 I would definitely keep Comrie. If you can think back to when we had Kevin Ohara playing on the right wing , he and Comrie were superb at getting forward so my idea is getting the right person interchanging with Comrie Reply |
56. Author: Ahoy!Ahoy! Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 09:43 Tbh you probably never heard Lennon talk about us because it’s the Champions League Semi-Final. Nobody there would have any interest in his situation with us, it was all about Inter - Barca last night. I wouldn’t read too much into that. Reply |
