Author: DunPar Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 14:15 Westwater Robertson Cowie McCathie Young Hamilton Bowie O’Boyle Watson Jack Morrison Feck sake, and I know time mists the memories but we had some cracking players back in the day (between 85-89) Add McCall, Paul Smith, Bobby Smith and even Trevor Smith and a certain Hungarian chap, istvan Kozma. We was spoiled !! Even one of the two Davie Moyes’s would win player of the year amongst the crew that we currently have ! Rowan Hamilton, Greg Shields, John Donnelly…….the list goes on. It made sense with the players at his disposal to go down that route as we didn`t have many attacking options further up the park. I dare say the condition of the pitch could also have played a part. It will be interesting if he sticks with that going forward. It did the job required but we did only score 2 goals in 7 games. Reply |
