Do we ever get anything to go well for more than 5 minutes, we looked on the up for a few days then after a promise of an exciting close season we get yet another total lack of professionalism.

I absolutely love how everyone is having an absolute melt down cause kit is delayed, no signings, weather etc ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Calm the F down. There is still time for stuff to happen and I have faith the plans will come together.

"Amateurish club" ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ brilliant.

The league cup is just glorified friendlies, used to get players to gel really. Our bread and butter is the league, we are a few weeks away from that starting so no need to panic about players yet, still plenty time.

To be fair, holding an event solely based around the new kit without actually having the kit there is just downright embarrassing. It`s the sort of thing you`d expect from an amateur outfit, not a professional football club. Sadly, itโ€™s not even surprising anymore.

Then you`ve got the leisurewear fiasco โ€“ launching it, taking money for it, and then not even being able to fulfil all the orders. Another cock up. You genuinely couldn`t make it up.

The most baffling part? We pay someone to run the commercial side of the club. Youโ€™d think launching a kit would be one of the most basic and marketable things a club can do and would be something they could manage. Apparently not. Absolute shambles.

c'mon the pars

He employed them. This is just another shambles in a long line of failure under his stewardship.

Looking at this objectively the buck stops with the manager for on-field performances, therefore the buck stops with the ceo for off-field performances. Also, who employed the commercial and marketing managers?

Who recruited and appointed them?

"The league cup is just glorified friendlies" - utter bag of boll*cks, and is offered to cover up the clubs close season inadequacies. It is has provided us with two ties against the Old Firm in the last 6 years and is a potential route to genuine financial gain.

Using inclement weather forecast as an excuse. Absolute joke. Two very disappointed 10 year olds I will have to entertain nowโ€ฆโ€ฆ

We seem to stumble from one fiasco to another fiasco despite who the owners areโ€ฆ.I wonder why ?

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Season tickets up in price (again), lack of signings, no shirts on sale, communication dire and the marketing is amateur stuff. What a laugh eh?

Looks like weโ€™re in for another rough ride this season.

On the bright side all our new players will be in the photos thanks to the delay.

And we will have both tops and players just in time for Christmas

But run out of large tops

That won`t affect you tho Raymie.... ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฃ

My apologies, should of worded it better. The league cup group stage is just glorified friendlies. Yea I knockout stages is fair enough, but the group stages, during pre-season, basically just friendlies with a competitive edge. Ok, some of the top 6 premiership teams have European games around the same time but the rest don`t come in till a later stage.

Viking, do you not realise that if we get horsed out in the group stage, as we did last year, we lose the opportunity to gain a lucrative tie later in the competition?

But we do need to win in the group stages to get through to the money making stages so don`t understand your logic.

I am fully aware of the financial implications of early elimination. Like yourself, I want the team to do it`s best and get through. IF we beat hearts, I don`t see why we won`t. But we have to beat the rest of the teams too otherwise it`s down to best runner up.

But having the group stages in the middle of pre season is amateurish from the SPFL but that`s a completely different argument.

My point is, calm down everyone. I have absolut faith that NL and the BOD know what they are doing and things will be good.

The optics look awful, but there has been legal issues with the sponsors to sort out which has obviously delayed the strips being manufactured. Im only guessing, but I do remember we had a delay a couple of years ago with strips delayed at customs. Could just be one thing after another.
