If you’re coming and want a seat then you better hurry up as they don’t have any in the away end. Literally no seats. Just concrete steps and it’s small. Get in early.

I suggested having these sort of outlets at the back of the Norrie. People pointed out these guys might not be interested in a pitch for a couple of hours.

Juice in cans.
They`ll have to go. The price of progress. Like not getting into the bar at Spartans at halftime for a couple of swifties after they got promoted.

Agree. You go to a baseball game and there are umpteen food outlets with all sorts of food. Okay, most of it is just guff but no worse than pies and empire biscuits.

We should create a `fan zone` in the carpark behind the NW. A few food vans and a beer garden that can be enclosed when the weather is rubbish.

Would make the match day experience better and bring in additional funds.

A fan zone could easily have the capability to be enclosed and also heated, you find them at stadiums who have a colder climate than Scotland

You`d imagine Stephens would have something to say if other food vendors started turning up on matchdays. I’d be very surprised if they didn’t have some kind of exclusivity clause in their contract.

That said, it’s not hard to see why folk would be in favour of bringing someone else in. The grub’s brutal, prices are ridiculous, and half the time you`re lucky if it`s hot unless you get a hot drink. They don`t cool down until at least Monday. The whole matchday experience should be better than queueing 20 minutes for a lukewarm steak brideithat tastes like cardboard and as thin as a rizzla paper.

If the club can renegotiate or look at alternatives when the deal’s up, they really should. Bit of competition wouldn’t hurt. At the very least it might force Stephens to up their game, or lower the prices. Either way, fans win.

c'mon the pars

Talking of `Stephens`, cammy, what`s happened to Steven Fletcher? At the start of last week you seemed confident he was about to sign for us. I must say, if there`s anything in this, I`m surprised the media haven`t latched on to it.

Maybe talks hit a snag, or he’s weighing up other potential offers, he is also still under contract at Wrexham so something could have happened there. 20001 reasons he didn`t feature.

As for the media not picking it up, not sure that means much nowadays. They’ve missed plenty over the last few windows and usually only catch up once the club’s posted the signing video. If there is something in it, it’ll probably just land out the blue like half our business does.

I thought Wrexham had said he would not be offered a new deal and he was disappointed by that? I haven`t seen anything since to suggest that has changed.
