If we are bringing more in it has to be this week to realistically have any prep for competitive matches. Thought Ewan Otto stood out. But I’ve no doubt Lennon and the recruitment team were already well aware of that long before a ball was kicked today. Wouldn`t be surprised to see a few new faces in through the door early July once contracts expire and markets start properly shifting. Still plenty of time both on the pitch and behind the scenes to get things right. If we’re sitting here a few weeks into the competitive fixtures and we’ve not strengthened, then fair enough questions should be asked. But pre season games? Never been something I’ve paid much heed to. It’s all about sharpness, experimenting with shape, and getting minutes into legs. Not the time to panic just yet. c'mon the pars Reply |

I’m sure there will be 4/5 additions to the team next week before the home shirt release. Folk moaning….Pre season friendly results mean nothing and that’s why I don’t go to them…Hearts game is the first test of the team and I’m sure NL will have them ready for it. Mon the Pars! Reply |
