Do we know if the second-half trialist was the same guy who played in Bulgaria?

No it wasn’t. His first name appeared to be Ally.

Where`s Wanyama?

Hopefully as far away from Dunfermline as possible.

OK, well what about:

On a beach in Guyana

or even Tijuana

can you find Victor Wanyama?

Will he sign to be a Par

and toast with a Havana

or only - close but no cigar?

Difficult game to judge the team on. SH was way better than FH but lots of poor decisions in the final third left us goalless. If we are bringing more in it has to be this week to realistically have any prep for competitive matches.

Thought Ewan Otto stood out. Solid & creative always looked dangerous going forward.

That it wasn’t 3-0 at half time. Apart from that. Nothing

Not ideal to lose but don’t think it’s anything to worry about at the moment. This was 2 days after the game in Bulgaria and we’re miles away from being the finished article. Hopefully we’ll have a few additions in before the Hearts game. We badly need some attacking players in.

Positives. I won the half time draw. £65. Number 14 centre back trialist was alright … Deniz marshalled his defence well. Young hit the crossbar. And some lads and lassies will have 3 balls for free that we sent over the netting.

EKFC manager was a gobsh!ite … who deserved his booking. Poor young keeper “Freddie” didn’t know what the heck he wanted him to do. Possession based passing along the back didn’t suit the young lad.

NL is delighted with the pre-season prep so far. That`s all that really matters.

Result means hee haw at this stage. If anything, today just underlined what we already knew, quality needs to be added. But I’ve no doubt Lennon and the recruitment team were already well aware of that long before a ball was kicked today. Wouldn`t be surprised to see a few new faces in through the door early July once contracts expire and markets start properly shifting.

Still plenty of time both on the pitch and behind the scenes to get things right. If we’re sitting here a few weeks into the competitive fixtures and we’ve not strengthened, then fair enough questions should be asked. But pre season games? Never been something I’ve paid much heed to. It’s all about sharpness, experimenting with shape, and getting minutes into legs.

Not the time to panic just yet.

c'mon the pars

More or less just a run out for the players today and mixing the team up after their Bulgarian pre season.
I’m sure there will be 4/5 additions to the team next week before the home shirt release. Folk moaning….Pre season friendly results mean nothing and that’s why I don’t go to them…Hearts game is the first test of the team and I’m sure NL will have them ready for it.

Mon the Pars!
