Amade must be wondering what he has to do to get a start. He looks head and shoulders above Otoo and TOB.

Think we got slammed right back into reality, rovers were miles better. Otoo tash Hosler and young all needing dropped. Bene looks very shaky when pressed like tonight

Rare to see a support so united over a clear conclusion that Kearney and Amade should be clear picks ahead of ToB and KRH. Otoo isn`t the answer either.

Only plus points from the starting 11 were Gilmour & Tod. Bene and Fraser were alright. The rest looked off it.

I`m mainly just gutted, atmosphere was phenomenal before the match. What a let down.

Fraser was shocking first half , same as KRH , constantly passing backwards and putting other players into trouble , second half improved lots, by getting on the front foot, a playing forwards ,this is the way ,wing backs must play.

Always in the wrong place when the ball comes down for a header, when we do connect it goes ip not forward. We were naive when challenged for balls in the air. Cant control ball when passed to us lose it or its a panic. Raith were brutal, should have had a red and many booked for mouthing off at ref including manager. sadly not yet good enough and 2 or 3 will never be good enough. 2 silly goals made us look even worse.

Not only the challenge on A Tod that should have been red but McMullan got away with a clear elbow in the face against Gilmour ?

How Easton never got booked for a couple of fouls and constant mouthing is anyones guess.

I disagree with those who say Rovers were miles better that us, they weren’t really. We gave them both goals. They are definitely more street wise though and that was our undoing. We have to wise up and soon or it could be another season scrapping around the lower end of the table again.

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

The first goal came from being caught in possession - the second from the attacker getting the freedom of the penalty area to get a one touch shot on target direct from a throw in.

Self inflicted - could have been worse. McMullan’s miss for example.

Kane was more of a threat up front during his short time on the pitch than the other forwards combined.

I doubt Young is second tier quality, hopefully proved wrong.

On the positive side, Fisher appears to be sound.

It`s the manager who`s on the steepest learning curve.

Aye no doubt 🤪

I actually agree, I felt we controlled the ball better. 2 mistakes cost us 2 goals and our usual problems up front were still glaring 🤷🏻‍♂️

I thought we lacked grit and edge. Raith were more up for it than us. They put us on the back foot for the whole first half. We need to learn to impose ourselves on the game and dominate teams. Skilful players are part of the solution. The young players had a lesson in the other attributes you need to have in this league. There will be a steep learning curve but that`s the reality. It`s one loss, albeit a derby, but it is important to learn from it very quickly. We will have times in this league where you just have to dig in and adapt where we cant play pretty football. All part of what it takes to get into the promotion mix.

A team with too many youngsters against a team full of experienced and streetwise players, what did we really expect ?

They scored early, kept us out the game and eventually made it 2-0. Up until 2-0 they still the better chances… the only real opportunity we had was at 2-0 down from jcm header. They completely controlled us from start to finish

I wouldn’t judge any team on that pitch. It’s a disgrace that top flight football is allowed to be played on that surface.

If we’re gonna persist on playing long balls to the striker we might want to think about bringing someone in who can challenge and hold the ball up.

Docherty, Fordyce and Hanlon had an evening of heading practice unchallenged all night.

As for our defence how many long balls over the top allowed Raith in, McMullen should have scored his opportunity.

Munn taking out Bene and Fraser, players letting the ball bounce and leaving it to each other while Raith moved up almost every second ball last night was a joke.

Don`t have enough experience in the team to know how to get through a tough derby game like that, I`m sure they`ll learn and it hasn`t really changed how I view the team. Especially in that Lennon is starting the wrong players at the moment.

I still think Bene is our weakest link. So slow, and it exposes badly to the ball over the top...especially since Tod and Jcm have a licence to push forward.

I think what we lacked was controlled aggression.not physical but mental aggression to drive forward , create space and opportunities. Too negative and pushed it wide with no real movement along the front line. You do the hard work to get forward then push it wide and lose it. It`s a bit like hitting the green in one and three putting. When you are in forward positions you have to do something with the ball to make the defenders work
