There are usually sellers at Asda Halbeath or in the Kingsgate, not sure if they will have Pars ones.

It was KincardinePar (sp?) used to source these and sell them to fans at the game. Not seen him post for a while. Hope he is ok.

@PeterHu50 - I have nothing but admiration and respect for your service. Thank you.

I`m personally in favor of the poppy appeal and I`m also fine with people who disagree or don`t have a view on it. I`m against the calling out of people who choose not to. We don`t go on internet forums and call out our neighbors or colleagues for not wearing a poppy.

I cannot fathom why one of our own fans decided to start a thread pointing this out about our own manager. But, if we`re honest, we all know why.

I don`t think it`s something to politicise. It`s about remembering those who gave their lives in defence of freedom. It`s that freedom that enables us to live our lives today. It`s no more than that, really, in my view.

I agree about it being about rememberence. However, unfortunately it has been politicised as this thread shows.

I buy mine from Poppy Scotland .. they are superb I buy more than I can wear but give them to my Pals ..
