Lennon: "“I just want to talk about that young man there (Osmand)

“I was a wee bit interested in wanting to take him on loan, but he backed himself to be in the squad, and all of a sudden he’s at the forefront there."

to me he was an obvious one to ask about in the summer so not a surprise there was interest, shame it didnt happen.

Also being the Dunfermline manager seems to be doing no harm to his standing as a tv pundit, where it looks like he`s in big demand.

Unfortunately,he cannot disguise his true colours.

I wouldn’t expect him to.
It’s what he does with us that’s important.
Jimmy C was quite clear who he really loved but didn’t stop him doing a great job.

He says quite regularly that its a good group of players and a good attitude, and they are keen to learn. That`s reflected in some of the player interviews. There is nothing worse than trying to teach things to people who don`t want to be there. My assessment is that some of the players have come on leaps and bounds since NL and the team have come in. Long may it continue. At the end of the day, not everybody will like you, but they will respect you, and that`s what matters to get the best out of people. For sure, there have been dips in performance, but the general trajectory is upwards, so the team should take confidence from that and enjoy the experience and knowledge that NL and team bring. They can only benefit in the end.

N L.And his staff seems to have good man management skills

I already see we have a good team there ,but if we are able to bring in a couple more experienced players (without upsetting the balance) thrn we can have a very good team

NL and his team have done a fantastic job since they came in, albeit with the financial backing with the new owners. I’m very excited for the future but cautious that NL’s success wont go unnoticed.

The likes of Aberdeen’s stuttering form worries me as I’d imagine NL’s name may possibly feature in the discussions of the Dons Board of Directors should they look to replace Jimmy. Hopefully they get on a good run soon 😂

Nah I don’t think NL would touch Aberdeen.
After his last couple of stints, I think he’ll feel like he’s onto a good thing here.

I dont think he needs the pressure of a high profile job. He knows anything in the top half of the premier league could last a very short time. Anything in the bottom half is no better than what he potentially has.
I think he is enjoying the task of bringing on a talented young squad and achieving something with them.

Like to think he’s quite content where he is.He does not need the hassle,if he moved to a higher team, especially in the west coast. He has made me,more looking forward to games now, that was sadly lacking for me. Last couple of seasons have been awful.

Aberdeen has always been a bad one. They seem to burn through managers like no-one else. Massive expectations to be at least the third biggest club but they`re a mixed bag every season.

3rd booking yesterday which for managers/coaches means a 1 game ban.

Neil will be going nowhere, he has started a good job
here and he will be wanting to see his young Pars getting
into the Premiership within the next 3 seasons
