He`s gone from Raith but he still runs his business through the same unit as the Conservatory converter guy.

They`ve a good squad but an aging one. Those players aren`t typically going to improve each season. They should have been investing in more fresh blood.

I totally agree Jake. They built a good championship squad then bolstered with the pair from Hibs then sacked the manager and derailed their own progress. It’s basically time for them to start rebuilding-push for promotion in 2/3 seasons 🤷🏻‍♂️

What happened to Andy Barrowman? Is he still involved in football?

It was his decision to sack Murray, wasn`t it? Been all downhill since. 😁

Barrowman came across as a bit of a snake oil salesman tbh. Went from a nonsense video offering a contract extension to sacking Murray in just a few months. Notice the social media team at Raith has been pretty quiet this season.

Murray didn`t have the best start to the season TBF but he`d done the best job with Raith in quite a few years.

I get the impression the problems at Raith run deeper than the manager.they are falling away in terms of performances, which happens with older squads. I think that this is perhaps another wrong decision, but as Napoleon said, don`t interrupt your opponent when they are making a mistake. They made a rash decision sacking the previous manager.who is next in the firing line I wonder.

Then………

Raith snub the Pars & hold onto Easton……3 year deal £££

Pars hit injury crisis & turn to a raw 19 year old + a loanee.

Now……….

ATJ & Barney knocking them in for fun. Pars going from strength to strength.

Dad’s Army Rovers sack their 4th manager Rev IM Jolly in 16 months. That’s a lot of conservatories in compensation.

Isn’t life wonderfull!!

Interestingly, the average age of Raith’s squad on Saturday was 26. Definitely not as old as I thought!

I can see one of the ex Hibees getting the job especially as they’ll have to pay Robson off and are probably still paying for Murray 🤩

Think it`s football strips and other sports stuff. Not sure if it`s as successful as the Raith pie sales 😉

Raith has by far the highest average age used this season at 28.7. We have the lowest at 22.8. Huge difference.

Paul Hanlon in the hot seat now. Always a risk for a manager, bringing in experienced players looking at the stage in their career where they will be thinking about becoming a manager- you are giving the board a ready made replacement

He wasn’t a well-liked man around the place, so not a big surprise.

I don`t think being liked as a manager in any form is the most important thing. As a manager you primarily want to be respected. You often have to make tough choices that won`t please everyone. I think that`s one of the challenges with older pro`s.

Stephen Kenny came across as a guy who wanted to be liked and it resulted in him being disrespected.

Robson seems more a guy who demanded to be respected and ended up not being liked. There`s a balance to be had.

I can`t argue with that, Indiapar, but I think there`s a much greater chance that we`ll like someone we respect than someone we don`t.

Seems to be a major issue, and also paying easton money for three years, where will end wonder what he thinks now, although glad we did not get him
